What we’re about
After this meetup has so far focused on Personal Knowledge Management (PKM) and SecondBrain, we are now expanding it to include the topic of “self-management”.
‘MindMatrix’ is a concept that combines self-management (self-organisation) and knowledge management. It aims to use an individual Personal Knowlege Management System (PKM) to organise oneself better and at the same time in such a way that it serves one's own cognitive, emotional and habitual development.
‘Mind’ aims to utilise our knowledge and ideas. To do this, it uses a ‘matrix’ - a toolbox of instruments, systems and life hacks. The ‘matrix’ generally (but not exclusively) uses software and other (simple to complex) technologies to integrate such life hacks into our everyday lives.
This meetup invites us to present such lifehacks, to be inspired by them and to share our experiences. It is based on the assumption that artificial intelligence opens up new possibilities that need to be discovered and tried out. Wearables, personality simulation and AI co-pilots are examples that could be used to develop such life hacks.
Arrival
At the venue (Workshop 3, Nernstweg 32-34), you will find the entrance to the building directly to the right of the Tigre restaurant. Then, go up to the 1st floor and turn right down the hallway. At the end of the hallway, open the door on the right and voila - you will find us in the large conference room.
Etiquette
We organize this meetup on a voluntary basis and put a lot of passion into it. Therefore, we kindly ask you to follow the following "rules of the game".
1. Please do not RSVP for a meetup if you are not sure that you will actually attend.
2. If something comes up last minute, please cancel your RSVP in a timely manner.
3. Repeated failure to show up despite RSVPing will be interpreted as disinterest and lack of appreciation. Therefore, we reserve the right to remove group members who repeatedly violate the etiquette.
4. We expect all participants to adhere to the behavioral rules outlined in the Berlin Code of Conduct (berlincodeofconduct.org).
