This 11-day active tour takes across Croatia and in to the mountains of Montenegro while hiking in diverse landscapes, exploring ancient history and indulging in local cuisine all along the way. We start by exploring Zagreb’s historic yet ecclectic culture and then take-in the world-famous Plitvice lakes and waterfalls. Following this, we make our way down the coast through the Roman cities of Zadar and Split, where learn about ocean conservation from our community partner. We'll stop in Ston, known for its oysters and 14th century fortress wall, before stopping in Dubrovnik. Here you'll see exactly why this UNESCO-protected heritage site is known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic." From there we continue on to Montenegro to visit the charming town of Kotor before kayaking on Skadar Lake and at Durmitor National Park.
