Fair Oaks Village to the Nimbus Hatchery walk 6 miles

This is a “go at your pace” walk beginning in front of the Fair Oaks Brew Pub at 7988 California St in the Village in Fair Oaks. There’s some construction going on at the moment so it’s best to park on Fair Oaks Boulevard in front of the deli area and walk over to the pub.

This is a great walk for ANYBODY who wants to get out early in the morning and get in a good walk. Being out in nature early in the morning with like minded people is the best way to start the day!

Because we will all be on the same trail in both directions, anybody has the option to turn around at any time. This walk starts in the Fair Oaks Village and the rest of the walk is on the American River trail next to the river up to the Hatchery and back. I will be taking a head count and keeping aware of each of you on the walk to make sure you are not left behind. Having a group of like-minded people to motivate you only adds to the experience! It's a beautiful walk.

We have one spot along this walk that has drinking water and toilets.

If you have a friendly dog/pet that you would like to bring along with you please do. My puppy will be walking with me and he loves his walks. He would love to have other friendly dogs join us so he can also make new friends.🐾🐾
