We’re taking you to what may be the Caribbean’s best kept secret: Dominica. This tropical paradise is not only the place for outdoor adventures like hiking to waterfalls and snorkeling in crystal blue waters, but is also built on a solid foundation of eco-tourism, prioritizing sustainability, organic agriculture, and locally owned and operated tourism businesses. But you may have many questions as you start planning your travels. When to go? For how long? What’s the weather like?

In this live session you’ll walk away with:

• An understanding of local geography and culture to to orient you with Dominica
• The right pronunciation of this island - it’s not what most people think!
• How Dominica’s natural beauty sets it apart from other places
• The wide range of activities, including a boiling lake, workshops with medicinal herbs, and cooking with tropical cuisine
• Travel tips for weather, flights and packing
• Information on the Traverse Journeys retreat in April 2024
