NEW ROUTE: Chestnut and mushroom hunt in the forest of Fontainebleu

Our second mushroom and forest excursion for the Autumn. Come learn about how to identify the basics safely or simply collect some chestnuts and enjoy the nature!

Join us as we take a NEW ROUTE through the forest around the picturesque village of Bourron- Marlotte

A forest bigger than all of Paris, an ancient sea still strewn with boulders and the most popular forest of the Paris region - the Forest of Fonatinebleau is enormous - taking in several villages and of course the town and famous Chateau itself.

Join us as we hike over boulders and to some of my secret known mushroom hunting spots! Hear stories of the famous locals who made the area their home and search for mushrooms and chestnuts.

When: Saturday 11th October

Meet: AT Bourron-Marlotte station. Take the 12:16 R train from Hall 1 at Gare de Lyon (direction Montargis)

Note: If you don't have a monthly Navigo (all zones) a regular 2.50 Metro-train ticket will take you all the way there - don't forget to validate it at the start of the platform.

Bring: Food/drink and walking shoes. (
