LAST CHANCE: mushroom hunt in the forest of Fontainebleau

It's almost winter - last chance to get out of Paris on a ☀️ day to the nature before the chill sets in! (Note - we are taking a different route to our tour from October)

A forest bigger than all of Paris, an ancient sea still strewn with boulders and the most popular forest of the Paris region - the Forest of Fonatinebleau is enormous - taking in several villages and of course the town and famous Chateau itself.

Join us as we hike over boulders and to some of my secret known mushroom hunting spots - and teach you the basics of safely looking for edible mushrooms.

Hear stories of the famous impressionist artists who made the area their home, climb the famous tower with incredible views over the forest and search for mushrooms and chestnuts.

When: Saturday 15th November

Start: AT FONTAINEBLEU-AVON Station. Take the 12:16 R train from Hall 1 at Gare de Lyon.

Note: If you don't have a monthly Navigo (all zones) you will need to buy a specific ticket to 'Fontainebleau-Avon'.

Bring: Food/drink and walking shoes. ideally a basket or paper bags for anything you collect.
