They stand as a prime example of resilience and meticulously preserved architecture, providing the perfect haven for the Tribe after demanding days in the high mountains.

🗻 Ordesa is the second-oldest national park in Spain after Picos de Europa, widely considered one of the most beautiful places in the world, where glacial footprints have sculpted a breathtaking landscape. 🦅 At the foot of Monte Perdido, nature in its purest state makes us realize how insignificant we truly are. Torla is one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. Full of life during the summer, it serves as living proof that sustainable tourism can save rural areas from depopulation. Its carefully preserved architecture turns Torla into a fairytale village, offering more than enough options to enjoy our leisure time once the routes are completed.

🧭 YOUR DETAILED ITINERARY 🏔️ THE ESSENCE OF THE PYRENEES

📆 THURSDAY, DAY 2 Arrival at the hotel for dinner (on your own) and overnight stay. You will be accommodated in shared rooms (if you prefer not to share, an individual supplement applies), with breakfast included. Dinners and trail picnics are not included.

📆 FRIDAY, DAY 3 METRICS: 14 km | Maximum Altitude: 1,680 m - Minimum Altitude: 1,330 m | Elevation Gain: +350 m | ⚙️ Difficulty: Easy (Linear). A route through the lesser-known valley of the National Park, featuring incredible landscapes of meadows and beech forests. Here, you can spot marmots and Pyrenean chamois (rebecos) while vultures watch over us from above. A 14 km route to enjoy throughout the entire day. We will carry our own food for the trail. In the afternoon, anyone who wishes can join for drinks around the bars in Torla.

📆 SATURDAY, DAY 4 METRICS: 18 km | Maximum Altitude: 1,950 m - Minimum Altitude: 1,330 m | Elevation Gain: +834 m | ⚙️ Difficulty: Demanding / Difficult (Circular). The crown jewel route of the National Park that everyone must experience at least once in their lifetime: visiting the Cola de Caballo (Horsetail Waterfall) and the glacial valley of Ordesa. We have two alternatives available. For those in peak physical shape, we offer the Senda de los Cazadores (Hunters' Path) and its breathtaking landscapes, where you can sight the Roland's Breach, Monte Perdido, Marboré... This circular option descends via the classic route, passing first through meadows and then through beech and mountain pine forests. The simpler alternative is a straightforward out-and-back trail to the Cola de Caballo, pausing at its numerous crystal-clear waterfalls. We will carry our own food for the day. Dinner and joint evening entertainment in Torla for those who want it.

📆 SUNDAY, DAY 5 METRICS: 16 km | Maximum Altitude: 2,000 m - Minimum Altitude: 970 m | Elevation Gain/Loss: +/-956 m | ⚙️ Difficulty: Difficult (Linear). The Miradores del Molar (Molar Lookouts), a route where we can witness the Pyrenees from a bird's-eye view. Setting off directly from Torla without any need to move our vehicles. We will carry our own food for the trail.

📆 MONDAY, DAY 6 METRICS: 12 km | Maximum Altitude: 2,330 m - Minimum Altitude: 1,330 m | Elevation Gain: +1,000 m | ⚙️ Difficulty: Moderate (Linear). Return to Bujaruelo for a short but intense route to discover the classic Pyrenean glacial lakes known as "Ibones". A perfect circle of water where we can stand very close to the snow, even in summer. We will indulge in the ultimate GEM of the trip: the IBÓN DE BERNATUARA. We will transfer by vehicle to the starting point. We carry our final trail meal. This is not just a farewell lunch; it is the perfect moment to connect with the ancestral energy of the Earth before bidding goodbye to your Tribe and returning home. A conclusion matching the stature of this author's expedition. ️✨

🧥 EQUIPMENT & GEAR Technical sportswear layered properly. Long trousers, technical socks, base-layer t-shirt, a primaloft layer (thermal jacket), and a Gore-Tex jacket are absolutely mandatory. Waterproof over-trousers are also required, alongside mid-cut Gore-Tex mountain boots that you have previously broken in, ensuring the soles are in optimal condition. "Semi-rigid" boots are ideal for scree terrain, though they are heavier. Walking poles (one pair) are strongly recommended. Gloves, sunglasses, and a sun cap are required.

Cultural tours within the Medieval Village of Aínsa (including the Castle and Plaza Mayor), the Pyrenean Fauna Eco-Museum, and the Torla Visitors' Center. Picturesque alpine villages: Aínsa, Torla-Ordesa, Broto (Sorrosal Waterfall), Bielsa, and Tella (the Hermitages route by car). ❓ WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANNOT ATTEND?
