Your first custom SOC agent: Microsoft foundry plus a custom MCP server

Microsoft Foundry gives you the agent runtime. A custom MCP server is what gets that agent to your own data: Sentinel incidents, KQL, whatever your SOC actually runs on. Getting from those two pieces to something you'd let near a real alert takes a handful of decisions you don't want to get wrong twice.
