Bell Rock Pathway/Bail/Llama/Little Horse/Bell Rock Pathway Loop

Hello hikers,

Our hike on Monday, November 3, 2025 will be a loop hike utilizing several trails beginning at the Little Horse Trail parking area at 7:30 AM.

From the Little Horse parking area, we'll hike south about 1 1/4 miles on the the Bell Rock Pathway (BRP) to the Bail Trail. Here we'll turn left and hike the Bail Trail to the Llama Trail. We'll make a left turn and hike northwest on the Llama Trail to the Little Horse Trail. We'll then hike Little Horse to the BRP, then hike the BRP back to the Little Horse parking area. This easy to moderate loop hike will be about 4 miles in length.

That trailhead parking is the Little Horse Trail parking area located on SR 179 south of the city of Sedona. From the "Y" roundabout, drive south on SR 179 about 3.5 miles. Just past the Back O' Beyond roundabout, you'll see a Scenic View sign and a hiking sign on the right side of SR 179 and a left turn lane on the left. Turn left here then proceed across the northbound lane of SR 179 to the Little Horse parking area. The parking area serves the Bell Rock Pathway and Little Horse Trail. There are toilets at the parking area.

A Red Rock Pass or equivalent is required for parking. You are responsible for your safety on the hike.
