NOTE PLEASE: Because it's going to be a cool morning, I'm moving the start time up one hour to 10:00am.

The sun returns. I hope. These 3 trails offer stellar views of Pyramid Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Cathedral Rock, and everything in-between. After the last few days of rain these trails should be fairly dry because of their grades.

Initially, we will make a pretty steep climb to the top of Ridge Trail. After that, the trail is mostly flat until we make our way back to the parking lot from Secret Slick Rock. We will stop at least once during the hike, and take some time later at Secret Slick Rock to enjoy the views.

The 3 trails together are less than 4 miles in length and about 600 feet in elevation.

Park at the gravel lot on Chavez Ranch Road, before it turns left, down to Oak Creek. Follow the map below, and you will find it easily. The lot is small, so consider carpooling.

I am not a professional guide. You and you alone are responsible for completing this hike and your own safety, as agreed to when you became a member of this Meetup group.
