Wednesday is Earth Day. There's hardly a better way to celebrate such a special day than hiking on a beautiful loop trail that has awesome views and provides a great path to get some exercise. This trail is 3.3 miles and 236 feet in elevation. We should do the entire hike in about 2 hours.

From AllTrails:
The trail offers a great hike with some elevation through mostly open spaces. The trail has boulders and some loose rocks and stones, so it's not ideal for trail running. There are some great views along the way, and it's very peaceful.

We will meet at the Western Gateway Trails/Cultural Park Trailhead parking area and leave promptly at 9:00am. Allow some extra time for cross-town traffic if coming from the Village of Oak Creek or Uptown Sedona.

Meet at the concrete picnic table. There are no bathrooms at this location, but parking is free. You could use the Mariott bathrooms on the corner of AZ89A, by accessing through the lobby.

You and you alone are responsible for your own safety and ability to complete this hike, as agreed to when you became a member of this Meetup group.
