You receive an invitation in the mail one day requesting your presence at a “Cadaver Concert.” You have no idea what this means or who sent the invitation. However, as a mortician, you are intrigued. You show up at the appointed place at the designated time. What do you find?
What are we doing?
Come on in, have a seat, and get ready for Seeking the Muse!
Some people come from work or from a distance, so at the start of the meeting we get settled in, say hello, some people get food/sodas, etc. I'll usually make any group announcements during this time.
Usually by 7:30 everyone has arrived and settled in. I'll discuss the prompt and then we'll have time to write. You do not have to write on the prompt, you can write whatever you like.
After we write, there will be some time to read. You are not obligated to read if you don't want to.
You are welcome to read something else that you brought in, but time is limited so please only bring in a sample of the piece, not an entire chapter.
