Welcome to the first Segfault meeting of the fall!

Agenda
17.00-17.20 Pizza / Drinks / Mingle

17.20-17.30 Intro

17.30-18.00 Talk #1: Attempting to write a code formatter; writing your own tools taken too far?
Speaker: Joakim Schmidt, Knowit
Nowadays we're pretty spoiled with good code formatters for the more commonly used languages. So what to do when you start using a language that isn't as widely used, and that lacks a proper formatter? Write your own of course, and pretend to know what you're doing.

I've tried to write a stand-alone formatter for QML from scratch, without knowing anything about formatting beforehand. Let's take a look at how it turned out, and what lessons I've learned.

18.00-18.10 Q&A / Intermission

18.10-18.40 Talk #2: Pi-hole -- Executing a hobby project to perfection
Speaker: Carl-Henrik Hult, Knowit
How to implement a network wide DNS sinkhole, protecting your devices.

18.40-18.50 Q&A / Eat the remaining pizzas
