Hello everyone, and welcome to our Selah Circle .
I know that for many of us, the walk from our front door to this room—or the transition from our busy day to this moment—was likely filled with a long to-do list, noise, or perhaps even a bit of heavy lifting in our hearts.
We’ve called this gathering 'Selah' because, in the ancient texts, that word is an invitation. It’s a musical notation that tells us to stop, breathe, and let the truth of what we’ve heard sink in.
We aren't here as strangers; we are here as a community of people who have all agreed on one thing: **we need a moment of stillness.
As we move into our prayer hour, I invite you to leave the 'hustle' of the world outside that door. You don't have to perform here. You don't have to have the 'right' words. We are simply here to be still, to listen, and to find strength in the quiet.
Let’s begin by taking one collective breath together... and entering into our Selah.
