So often, when doing our inner work, we get fixated on aspects of a situation that take up a lot of our time and energy, but those aspects aren't where the real nuggets lie. When this happens, we often think we've "solved" the problem, and then it pops up again at a later date! This can also happen frequently in our discussions with others, as we attempt to resolve conflict.
We can manage this phenomenon once we learn how to recognize it.
