This is a group for people interested in the intersection of mindfulness and self-development. The goal is to discuss and support one another in achieving that highest Maslowian need: self-actualization.

I have observed that there is a need for communities that allow and support individual growth while also maintaining connectedness. This event will be the second meetup, so it will be a bit experimental. I’ve reserved a room for us to meet at the library.

The meeting will involve watching a TED Talk or educational video and having a community discussion about it. I will provide questions to help facilitate the discussion. I will also provide snacks. Feel free to bring snacks as well. Let’s see what kind of turnout we get!

To whoever is reading: best wishes.

About me: I am a community leader at my software company and a professional engineer who has spent years participating in, and occasionally leading, various social circles. I’ve dedicated my life to trauma-informed healing and self-actualization. I have seen its positive effects, and my goal is to create systems that empower everyone in the community to become their best selves.

Although I have read extensively on academic and holistic psychology, I am not a formally trained mental health professional.

If you have any questions about this group, you are welcome to DM me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/a_really_cool_handle/?hl=en. Please keep it classy. 😎💫 I will do my best to respond.
