If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed or exhausted ~ or if you just need a moment to catch your breath ~ Breathing Room is for you. This fun, accessible workshop will give you simple, creative tools to reduce stress and support yourself with more kindness.
Together we’ll explore how poetry and art journaling can help you de-stress, find a steady center and connect with yourself in a more compassionate way. No poetry knowledge or art experience required ~ just curiosity and a willingness to try something new.
✨ In this free workshop, you will:
🎨 Experience guided art journaling as a simple, playful way to reduce stress
📖 Engage with poetry in a creative, meaningful way that helps you feel supported
🌿 Explore self-compassion as an anchor ~ a way to stay steady, even when life feels uncertain
There’s no pressure to share or perform ~ just a welcoming space to exhale, create and reconnect with yourself.
And if you want to keep practicing together after this free offering, you'll also learn about my uplifting Beyond Burnout program.
This live workshop will be recorded, so if you aren't able to join at 10am PT on Sunday, April 6, 2025, you can watch the replay!
NOTE: The Zoom passcode for the event is EXHALE
A note about art journaling supplies:
Please have a mixed media pad or heavier-weight paper, a waterproof black marker, some watercolors, a brush, a bowl of water and a paper towel. If you don't have these supplies, don't worry! Just bring what you've got ~ a piece of paper and something to write/draw with will work, too!
You can attend just through the Zoom link above. To learn more, and to receive reminders about the event (and a link to the replay), sign up here: https://www.creativeselfcompassion.com/breathingroom
Note: This will be a different format than the monthly group that you may have attended in the past ~ more of a teaching/webinar style than a meeting/discussion, though I will make it as fun and interactive as possible, and there will be time at the end for any questions you may have ❤️
