About us

Are you curious about why you feel the way you feel, when when it does not seem 100% rational? Or why some patterns tend to repeat in your life, and what other possibilities are there to have a meaningful experience in the world?

This group brings together people interested in self-discovery and personal growth and transformation through psychology, imagination and experience. Perhaps you’re navigating a change, feeling caught in a familiar pattern, or just looking for a space to explore with oppeness and curiosity.

Depending on the event, we may use guided imagery, body awareness, reflective exercises or inner dialogue to explore different perspectives and responses. Together, we’ll consider how what we discover can translate into everyday life: in our relationships, decisions, boundaries and sense of direction.

You don’t need any previous experience or to hold a particular set of beliefs to participate meaningfully. Bring your curiosity, participate at your own pace, and share only what feels comfortable.

I’m Dr. Beatriz Melim, a psychologist whose research and practice explore how people change and grow in significant moments of their life. I created this group to share the experiential approach at the heart of my work and offer a welcoming space for exploration and connection.

Join us online or in Munich. Whether a particular topic speaks to you or you’re simply curious to try something new, you’re welcome here.

Hosted by Beatriz Melim Psychology. These events are for education and self-exploration and not a substitute for medical or psychotherapeutic treatment.

Have you ever thought, “I know why I do this, so why does it still happen?”

Perhaps you recognise one of these situations:

• You have something to contribute in a meeting, but your chest tightens and you stay quiet.
• You want to say no, but guilt takes over and you agree to something you don’t have time for.
• You receive a small piece of criticism and spend the evening replaying it, even though you know it doesn’t define you.
• You want to make a decision, but keep searching for reassurance because neither option feels certain enough.

What might help you speak while feeling nervous, set a boundary while tolerating some guilt, or make a choice without needing complete certainty?

Join me for an interactive introduction to working with emotional patterns through imagery, imagination and body awareness. We’ll explore what it can mean to experience a situation differently, and how that experience might open up new choices in everyday life.

During our 60 minutes together, we’ll:
• Explore why recognising a pattern doesn’t always change how it feels.
• Look at examples of experiential work.
• Try a gentle, optional guided exercise.
• Make time for questions and reflection.

No previous experience is needed. You’re welcome to simply listen, and you won’t be asked to share anything personal.

Hosted by Dr. Beatriz Melim, psychologist and researcher based in Munich.
