Walking meditations on Tao Te Ching - X

Details
Dear friends
During this event we will concentrate on verses from chapter 10 of Tao Te Ching. We will reflect together this chapter and then will go for a 20 minute walking meditation in the park!!
Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu is a chinese classical text with 81 verses of wisdom. Though Tao Te Ching has been interpreted subjectively according to who is reading it, for a seeker on the path of wisdom it is a wonderful and precise guide to the process of becoming an enlightened being, to accomplish, within oneself, a high level of spiritual cultivation.
Verse 10 of Tao Te Ching
"Can you hold the body (po)
and spirit (hun) as one?
Can you avoid their separation,
concentrating your chi
and becoming pliant?
Can you become like a
newborn baby?
Clearing your mind and
contemplating the profound,
can you remain unflawed?
In the opening and closing of the inner gates
can you take the role of the feminine (primal yin)?
Being open to and understanding all things
can you practice wu wei?
Can you grow the fruit without taking possession of it?
Can you do the work without taking credit?
Can you lead without dominating?
This is called profound virtue (Te)."
I welcome you towards a fruitful reflection and meditation experience!!
