Walking meditations on Tao Te Ching

Dear friends
During this event we will concentrate on verses from chapter 17 of Tao Te Ching. We will reflect together this chapter and then will go for a 20 minute walking meditation in the park!!
Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu is a chinese classical text with 81 verses of wisdom. Though Tao Te Ching has been interpreted subjectively according to who is reading it, for a seeker on the path of wisdom it is a wonderful and precise guide to the process of becoming an enlightened being, to accomplish, within oneself, a high level of spiritual cultivation.

Verse 17 of Tao Te Ching

"The highest teacher is not known by others.
The next highest has followers who love and praise her.
The next highest has followers who fear her.
The lowest has followers who scorn her.
If one does not trust
she will be considered untrustworthy.
The highest teacher acts in a leisurely manner.
She chooses her words carefully
and does not waste them.
When she accomplishes things
her followers think they have accomplished it themselves."
