Dear friends
During this event we will concentrate on verses from chapter 41 of Tao Te Ching. We will reflect together this chapter and then will go for a 20 minute walking meditation in the park!!
Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu is a chinese classical text with 81 verses of wisdom. Though Tao Te Ching has been interpreted subjectively according to who is reading it, for a seeker on the path of wisdom it is a wonderful and precise guide to the process of becoming an enlightened being, to accomplish, within oneself, a high level of spiritual cultivation.

Verse 41 of Tao Te Ching

"When the superior person
hears about Tao
she practices it diligently.
When the average person
hears of Tao
she practices it one moment
then loses it the next.
When the inferior person
hears about Tao
she laughs at it.
Yet if we do not laugh
we will never know Tao.
Therefore these things are said:
The bright Tao
sometimes seems dark and obscure.
Advancing on the path of Tao
sometimes feels like retreating.
The smoothness of the path of Tao
sometimes feels bumpy.
The superior virtue of the path of Tao
sometimes feels like an abyss.
The perfect clarity of Tao
sometimes seems spotted.
Great virtue
sometimes feels insufficient.
The most well-established virtue
appears weak.
The pure truth of Tao
sometimes appears changeable.
The great square has no corners.
The perfect tool
is sometimes completed last.
The perfect note
is sometimes hard to hear.
The perfect image is without form.
Great Tao itself
appears hidden and nameless.
Yet Tao nourishes all things
and brings them all to fruition."

Welcome to a beautiful reflection and walking meditation experience!
