Dear friends
During this event we will concentrate on verses from chapter 50 of Tao Te Ching. We will reflect together this chapter and then will go for a 20 minute walking meditation in the park!!
Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu is a chinese classical text with 81 verses of wisdom. Though Tao Te Ching has been interpreted subjectively according to who is reading it, for a seeker on the path of wisdom it is a wonderful and precise guide to the process of becoming an enlightened being, to accomplish, within oneself, a high level of spiritual cultivation.

Verse 50 of Tao Te Ching

"In coming in (being born)
and going out (dying)
those who follow life
are three in ten.
Those who follow death
also number three in ten.
Those who are living
yet moving toward death
are also three in ten.
Why is this?
Because most people
use up their lifeforce (chi).
Those who know how to
maintain their lifeforce
encounter no dangers on their way.
They can fight in a battle
and not be harmed by weapons.
They have nowhere for the rhinoceros
to stick his horn.
Tigers can find nowhere
to use their claws.
No weapon can harm them.
Why is this?
Because they have no place
for death to enter."

Welcome to a beautiful reflection and walking meditation experience!
