Self Improvement

This meetup group is for various meetups I will host, with the fundamental basis being self improvement -- for ourselves and our communities.

I usually am deeply in engaged with bleeding edge technology such as AI (I run the VancouverAI Community Meetup for example), bitcoin (I've been professionally in the space for over a decade), bio-tech (I co-founded Canada's first bio-tech community lab in 2008), entrepreneurship, and neuroscience.

I've got a long personal and professional history in information security (now called cybersecurity?), and privacy. I'm a life long proponent of open source and decentralization. I'm also passionate about identity, voting, and geo-politics.
