About us
self-ish is a community for busy, overstimulated adults—especially women and queer-friendly professionals in BGC, Makati, and nearby areas—who crave restorative downtime without forced networking or performative wellness.
Each 90-minute gathering begins with a gentle phone-resting ritual, followed by an analog leisure activity such as journaling, painting, reading, puzzles, mahjong, or simply making something with our hands.
This is a space to slow down, quiet the noise in our heads and hearts, and make room for ourselves without needing to be productive, impressive, or “on.”
Because taking time for yourself is not selfish. Sometimes, it is simply self-ish.
