Natural Lands Management by Speaker Ron Chicone

Join us on Sunday, November 8th at 2 pm for our monthly meeting where biologist Ron Chicone will give a presentation on Seminole County’s Natural Lands Program. He will give the background and history of the Natural Lands Program, how lands were selected, and how they are managed. He will also describe how the SAS monthly bird surveys are performed and how the data is helpful for community science and conservation work. Finally, Ron Chicone will describe how a Bioblitz works and how that data is used.
