It all started with a simple thought: What if we had a space where JavaScript meets fika?
Where newcomers don’t feel lost, where experienced devs don’t just talk at people but with them, and where technology feels as warm and inviting as a fresh semla on a cold Swedish day.
So, we created Semla.JS 🎉
A meetup where you’re just as likely to learn about the latest web frameworks as you are to debate the best way to eat a semla. A place where beginners can ask “silly” questions (spoiler: there are none) and industry veterans can share their insights without the pressure of conference lights and slides.
We believe in learning by doing, and learning even better by sharing. We love JavaScript, but more than that, we love the people behind the code. 👩💻👨💻
