Senior Adventurers

Don't let the spring rain keep you housebound. Join us to make string hearts! Just wind and wrap red string around pegs to make a heart take shape. Cross the string around to fill in the middle, and you're done. Easy Peasy, and the cost per project is less than $10!

Each kit makes one 6" x 6" red string heart on wood with hardware included for hanging. Give it as a gift, or display your finished work in a place you love or where loved ones congregate.

Please let us know how many hearts you'd like to create, so we can provide enough kits for everyone.

Hidden in Goat Island Woods is a well-paved nature trail that is quiet and secluded. Park in the 20 minute free parking area across from the entrance to 3 Sisters Islands if you'd like to walk it with us.

Directions: Once you arrive at Goat Island, bypass the main parking lot by driving in the exit lane to the left of it. Otherwise, you will be charged admission if you're not a senior. (On weekdays, seniors are always free.)

Although, we plan on parking in the 20 minute lot across from 3 Sisters Islands, we can walk much longer.

Once the tallest building in WNY, the county seat, a post office, farmer's bank, and a general store; the J. Eschelman Building has a rich and diverse history.
