Market Research Invitation: Shaping the Future of Senior Care and Home Sharing

Subject: Market Research Invitation: Shaping the Future of Senior Care and Home Sharing

We are excited to introduce our innovative shared-economy solution to assist seniors in need. Our platform aims to support seniors before moving into assisted living or a nursing home, especially those who are widowed and living alone. With our platform, seniors can connect with students or other qualified individuals who can help them with their daily chores in exchange for reduced or no rent.

Our platform will facilitate connecting the right people, processing payments, creating detailed contracts, and enforcing them.

Why We Believe This Is a Worthy Cause:

Aging in Place and Living Alone: Key Statistics

Preference to Age in Place:
- 77% of adults over 50 prefer to age in place.
- 87% of adults 65 and older want to remain in their homes.
- 92% of seniors express a preference for aging in place.

Seniors Living Alone:
- 28% of the population aged 65+ (approx. 12 million seniors) lived alone in 2020.
- Other sources report about 28% (14.7 million) of older adults living alone, with 21% being older men and 34% older women.

Our solution will provide seniors with companionship and increase their safety, making it an excellent resource for those who care for their elderly parents. By getting additional adult care, seniors can avoid relying solely on their children and instead receive much-needed assistance and relief. This option would be highly advantageous for caregivers, who could benefit from additional support.

Invitation to Participate:

We seek advice from seniors, caregivers, and aging experts to ensure we develop a successful solution. Your input is invaluable, and we would love to hear your thoughts and insights.

Please join us for a meetup to discuss aging in place and how our platform can best serve the needs of seniors and caregivers. Your participation will help shape a future where seniors can age comfortably and safely in their homes.

Thank you for considering this impactful opportunity. We look forward to working together to benefit the seniors.
