Life isn’t always easy but having someone who will listen and/or offer suggestions in a non-judgmental way can make a seniors life less stressful, more fun and gain some new friendships.
Family is great to talk to but sometimes people in your own age group have the experience of life to share, how they overcame problems or the way they improved their lives.
Essentially this will be a social support group for seniors. Some may want advice on topics like Medicare, Social Security, housing, pet topics, or how to cook a meal, get exercise, respond to telephone scams , etc. most topics will be allowed except for political leanings. Only exception is if there is a bill in Congress that affects seniors and would be useful to know about.
