About us

The Senior Singles Fun Bunch is an inclusive social/activities meetup exclusively for 55+ men and women who are single. Please note this is not a dating site, but if you meet someone special here that’s great! This is a meetup where like-minded individuals can come together to forge new friendships, share experiences, and to have fun times together. We will be doing fun things like dining out, day trips, taking in a movie, going to the theater, picnics, walks, etc. Also, suggestions from members will be welcomed. And if you would like to host an event (you get to choose the event, place, time, etc.) go for it!

If you wish to join please upload a photo of yourself to your profile. This will make it easier to recognize each other when we get together.

Please note that members will be removed from the Fun Bunch if they have not signed onto the website within one year. Also, if a member is a no-show (more than two times) after a RSVPing to an event they will be removed.

There are no membership fee, but donations are greatly appreciated.

Carolina Sky Highlands ~ Shaggy Cow Farm Tour

Carolina Sky Highlands is a farm in Marion, N.C. known for their shaggy highland cows.
I have scheduled us a one-hour tour to see those big, fluffy highland cattle! Also there are horses, Texas longhorns, and other farm animals. This will be a hands-on guided tour where we will be feeding, brushing (the highland cows love to be brushed!) and petting animals. 🐮 🐴 🐷 🐑

COST: $15. We will be getting a group discount (yay!) so instead of $20 our cost will be $15 per person for the one-hour tour. You will pay at the farm. They accept cash, Venmo, PayPal, or CashApp.

WHAT TO WEAR: Please dress very casual for we will probably be getting dirty. Definitely wear closed-toe shoes (I’m wearing rubber rain boots) for there will be “cow glitter” 💩 here, there, and everywhere! You might want to put some backup shoes in your car. 👞

RESTROOMS/HANDWASHING STATION: Available to wash all that fur off your hands from petting & feeding the animals.

DOGS: Not allowed for the safety of the farm animals. 🐶

GIFT SHOP: You just might want to buy a souvenir!

DIRECTIONS: Your GPS may announce “arrived” before the bridge to the farm ~ ignore it! Go ahead and cross the bridge and you will see an open field. Just follow the parking signs.

LATE LUNCH: Countryside BBQ. For those who want to grab a bite to eat afterwards. It’s a come-as-you-are restaurant which would be perfect for us after being out with the farm animals! We might be a little smelly! 😜
