La Strada Restaurant at Lake Lure ⛵️

Lake Lure is finally reopened (“soft opening”) after all the destruction Hurricane Helene caused, although there is still plenty of recovering going on. But now that they are fully reopened to the public I thought it would be nice to support them in their continued recovering by having lunch there at La Strada Restaurant located right across the road from the lake. And then perhaps you might want to go shopping or simply look around after you finish eating. By the way, the lake is full again and the restaurant has a nice view of it and the surrounding mountains!

DRIVING: All main routes are now open. But a portion of U.S. 64 into Bat Cave has been reduced to a single lane with a temporary red light. So please allot more driving time to arrive at the restaurant on time if you go this route.

DOG FRIENDLY: Dogs are allowed on the covered patio so feel free to bring your pet. Woof! Woof! 🐶🦮

PARKING: There is plenty of parking at the restaurant which is quite nice for elsewhere in Lake Lure it can be a hassle to find a place to park. 🚗 🚙

NO RESERVATIONS: La Strada does not take reservations, but they are very good at accommodating a group if one calls ahead which I will do.
