Hi all,On Wednesday December 9th and Thursday December 10th Waag and SODAQ will organise the Transforming Citizen Sensing conference. During this two-day conference, a wide variety of citizens, environmental activists, makers, ecologist, technical experts and researchers will come together to discuss their concerns and needs around air quality measurement. Global sensing initiatives are invited to share their knowledge. The goal is to identify the requirements a sensor should meet in order to address the common issue and to discover the limits of what is technically possible. Join us online on december 9 & 10! I need a Lattice FPGA CPLD HW-USBN-2 Jtag ISP Programmer for half a day. Any SenseMaker in the Amsterdam area whom can lend me such a thing?
Micropython. On linux I use Thonny as micropython IDE. Also the preferred editor for the courses at Random Nerd. For the commandline I'm a bit struggling with Adafruit's Ampy and mpfshell. Right now I'm teaching an introductory course in Python using the Trinket.io website. I'm considering a transition from the online compiler to microcontrollers. Would like to team up with members to develop educational material. The makerscommunities here in the Netherlands are mostly using Arduino which is a fail-safe tool. Getting the micropython interpreter up and running takes some more effort although the stability of the firmware for the esp8266 has improved considerably.
If you are going to attend the MicroPython Special on November 13th, please read https://www.meetup.com/sensemakersams/messages/boards/thread/52507179
