Every 3th Wednesday of the month we have presentations, open mic & discussions about IoT-related subjects.

This evening we have:

- Tanguy Coenen from Imec
Can Urban Digital Twins be a way to leverage IoT systems and improve decision making by combining real-time sensor data and machine learning? What are the potential application domains and what is the longer-term vision. He will discuss how the Urban Digital Twin has emerged as an overarching concept, integrating some of the smart city projects from Antwerp's "City of Things" program.

- Paul Kootwijk & Marcel Gerrits on practical applications of IoT and AI to help ProRail manage maintenance, safety & security of the railwail infrastructure

- Tom van Arman from CITYXL & TAPP
Lidar is a point cloud 3D scanning technology used by many industrial and engineering industries to visualize manufactured parts or quality inspections and is also used to help autonomous vehicles and robots navigate their surroundings. How can we use Lidar in new and creative ways to better understand the digital reality of our built environment? In this talk, Tom will show a digital twin created of the Marineterrin as a multi-media canvas that paints a landscape of new and exciting possibilities.

Doors open at 18.30 at Marineterrein (details will follow) for networking & discussing projects.
Presentations usually start at 19h & end around 20.30 with "open mic" when you can share your own story/event/question.
