Thai Lunch at Araya's Place in Bellevue

Araya's Place is a delicious, popular vegan Thai restaurant with a new-ish (about a year old) location in Bellevue. There are many gluten-free options and they are very accommodating to soy allergies. Because everything is vegan, there are no dairy or egg allergies to worry about! In addition to standard Thai dishes, they have some of their own specialties and an array of gluten-free desserts. There is a lunch buffet available daily in addition to the regular menu items, but for many of us that may not be an option because of cross-contamination.

Don't be discouraged if there is a waiting list. In this group, people usually cancel within 48 hours of the event and the wait-listers get in.

P.S. For those of you who like and can eat at Cupcake Royal, there's one right next door. They now have a gluten-free cupcake. I've heard very mixed reviews about it, but if enough people say they want to try it in their RSVP, I'll call ahead and have some reserved for us.
