Details
Important dates:
March 17-league fees of 85,000W and skill sheet must both be turned in or you can not play.
March 25-New players practice/Draft 8pm at Dillingers Bar & Grill in Itaewon.
April 1-Opening Day
May 27-Softball Tourney bye week
June 24/July 1-Playoffs
You MUST have your skill sheet and league fees turned in by the due date. If not, you're out. We're cutting it off at 66 players, plus captains, which is 13 a team. If you have played a season in the SBL before and you don't register, you CAN NOT go to the waiver wire. Only new players can be on the waiver wire, so you will not be able to play until next year. All returning players must be in the draft. So get your stuff in!!
If we're not close to 66 by the 10th, we're dropping the number to 55 and will roll with 5 teams. First to get their stuff in plays. If you miss the cut, sorry but you're out.
League Fees are 75,000. Bank info is in the comments on the pinned post, which is the skill sheet. Email your skill sheet, info is also there, and wire your league fees. Let me know when you do so I can make you as paid. Depending on if we can get a really nice field for a game or two during regular season, there may be a small playoff fee of 10,000 won to make up those costs.
For new players, the main place we play is Gwacheon Government Complex, line 4, exit 8.
The league provides equipment, but a glove, clears, pants is on you. Jerseys are done by teams.
Sponsors give each teams money to help alleviate the costs of uniforms, or for whatever the team wants to do with it. The deal is YOU MUST have two team parties with everyone in attendance to grab some grub, a few drinks if you booze. SBL nights are not mandatory, obviously we want everyone to be there, as our community is a lot of fun. The SBL would not be what it is without our great sponsors. Please support them like they support us.
Hopefully we see a lot of familiar faces again this season, and bunch of new ones as well. Having fun and building your social circle, being a part of the SBL family is what it's all about. This is a great league and it gives all the opportunity to play baseball, have some beers, and hang out together.
