### About Us: Welcome to Seoul Board Game & Social!

Since 2014, we have been a dedicated community of board game enthusiasts in Seoul. If you’ve enjoyed classics like Rummikub, Splendor, or Catan but find yourself craving a deeper challenge, you’ve come to the right place.

### What We Play

We specialize in "Next Step" gaming. We love diving into strategic, thought-provoking titles that consistently rank high on BoardGameGeek, such as:

• Heavy Strategy: Dune: Imperium, Terraforming Mars, Brass: Birmingham, Agricola, and more.
• Mid-Weight Classics: 7 Wonders, Splendor, etc.
• Social & Party (for larger groups): Skull King, Codenames, Resistance: Avalon.

> Please Note: While we love having fun, we are not a group that focuses on simple dexterity games like Halli Galli or Jenga. We gather to enjoy the "joy of thinking" and deep tactical gameplay.

### Our Community & Language

Our members are primarily expats living and working in Korea, along with locals who enjoy a global atmosphere.

• Language: Our sessions are conducted 99% in English.
• Inclusivity: You don’t need to be an expert! As long as you have a willingness to learn and a passion for gaming, our members are more than happy to teach you the rules in a welcoming environment.

### Commitment to the Game

Most of our games run between 1 to 3 hours. Because of this, two things are vital for a smooth experience:

1. Punctuality: Please arrive on time. It allows us to split into groups and start games without delay.
2. RSVP Etiquette: Accurate RSVPs are crucial so we can select the right games for the number of players. If you arrive late, you may have to wait quite a while for a session to end.
