The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron is a 12-week program designed to help people reconnect with their creativity. The book isn’t just for painters, writers, or musicians. It’s for anyone who wants to live more creatively. Through simple practices like morning pages, reflection prompts, and small weekly challenges, it helps you notice what sparks your curiosity and move past some of the blocks that hold creativity back.

This meetup is a space to explore those ideas together. We’ll talk about the book, share reflections from the first week, and have an open conversation about creativity and curiosity in our lives. You don’t need to consider yourself an “artist.” If you feel a pull toward creating, exploring, or understanding yourself better, you’ll fit right in.

Prep before the meetup~

  • Read the introduction and Weeks 1–2 of The Artist’s Way
  • If possible, complete the Week 1 (and Week 2) exercises
  • Skim the rest of the book to get a sense of the full 12-week journey

Schedule ~

11:00 – Arrive, order coffee, meet on the 1st floor.
11:15 ~ Introductions. Sharing. Discussions.

  • Intentions to pursue this book and this event.

After the discussion, anyone who wants to keep chatting is welcome to join for an optional lunch at a nearby restaurant. Location TBD.

  • You want to be more creative in life, whether through a specific craft or just in how you live.
  • You’re curious about building a better relationship with yourself
  • You’d like to meet other creative, likeminded people in Seoul and form friendships.
