Enjoy a Sunday afternoon at a cafe where we'll enjoy coffee/tea 🍵, and pair off to play chess while stimulating our minds and building connections.
So, why a chess group for women? Of course, there are a plethora of women who play chess, but overwhelmingly, girls/women are often underrepresented numbers-wise in the chess world. I feel building a community of women chess players can help build connection and introduce other women to the game who have an interest in playing.
Guests of all levels are welcome, and my goal is for this to be a non-competitive space. Simply an environment to connect, learn from one another, build skills, and nurture new friendships. Hope that you'll come and play with us! 😊
