The contemporary environmental movement arose from 1960s counterculture. Another component of that movement was New Age spirituality, the idea that humanity was approaching a moment of spiritual transformation.

in this meeting we will explore the history of Environmentalism and New Age, its present day evolution and how the public concerns of the day shape our religious and cultural space.
