How was your Chuseok?
After Chuseok, the weather is turning cool, and it’s nice to go on a picnic!

For our next coffee-talkee meet up, I would like to invite you to Marcheat, Korean Farmers’ Market! Marcheat(마르쉐) is a farmers open-air market, and it has three big sections –one each for farmers, cooks and artists – with each section producing a variety of products.

At the Farmer's section, you can get local, fresh, organic and seasonal vegetables and fruits that farmers harvested.
At the Cook's section, they sell special hand-made food, such as grain macaroons, grain vegetable burgers, smoked bacon, tofu chips, vegetable chocolate cakes and home-made tomato sauce!
The artist's section will draw your attention by their unique products, such as bamboo baskets, wooden dishes, natural dyed clothing, etc.
Plus, if you bring your basket, dish or tumbler, you can get a discount or a small present at some shops.

Don’t miss this Korean farmers’ market!

Marcheat Market is a good place to meet people and enjoy an outdoor walk while getting needed groceries.
It is going to be held on Sunday, 14 September, 11:00-16:00 at Yangjae Citizen’s Forest (양재 시민의 숲).
