Please join the https://open.kakao.com/o/g6qH2Bag
Optional - I'd like people to join the new FB group https://www.facebook.com/groups/seoul.film.collab
Schedule:
15 min: Ordering and getting settled
30 min: New member introductions
40 min: Camera Academics: Introduction to Camera. George will present a lesson and answer questions about the digital cinema camera. The lesson will be specific to the operation of the Blackmagic 6K super 35 and full frame sensor cameras, but applicable to principals of operation of all mirrorless digital video cameras.
10 min: Feedback on academics format. Choose next topic and presenter.
15 min: Break
40 min: Concept Generation Brainstorming: Project planning. George will lead the members brainstorming ideas for our first project. Our goal is to come up with the concept for a story that can be told as a short film between five and ten minutes in length in free accessible locations.
10 min: Break
40 min: Concept Generation: Organize concept and develop outline.
10 min: Closing
A note about the free entrance: Every prospective venue is a business trying to turn a profit. The venue we have access to is a privilege. We will have the ability to present on a big screen - so essential when we have material to show - and we will. It's just common curtesy to the owner.
Seoul Filmmaker’s Collaborative mission is to bring together people involved in various filmmaking roles who want to expand their knowledge; learn as much as they can about the other roles - every aspect of filmmaking. Each member should have a skill they can teach. And each member should plan on being involved with filmmaking exercise projects because the best way to learn - the only way to improve - is to practice. We decided to make projects central to the group's meetings.
Please send me your questions. And be patient; I am still new to this meetup platform...
