Beyond the "Glass Ceiling" - Discover Your Unique Path Forward
Have you heard of the 'Career Labyrinth'? For decades, we've compared careers to a 'ladder' - a straight path where you climb one rung at a time, always moving upward. But stepping off this path or pausing can feel like failure. The 'Labyrinth Model' tells us that careers are more like a 'complex maze'. There isn't just one route to leadership - there are countless detours and sometimes dead ends. What matters is developing strategies to navigate this complexity without losing your way and finding your own unique path.
In this session, our speaker Ann will share strategic navigation techniques for turning obstacles into opportunities within this 'maze', reframing setbacks as successful course corrections, and moving forward at your own pace and direction.
Join us to hear practical insights from Ann Fuell, who leads the Empower Programme at the British Chamber of Commerce in Korea (BCCK) and mentors business leaders. All women looking to grow in the IT industry but struggling to find direction are welcome!
