Talking Turnkeys w. Ali Boone/Flipping with Robert Medlock/Jeff Yu: Korean REI

Details
Hi Fellow Real Estate Investors!
Can't wait to see you all on Saturday, March 21, 1-3p, at the TOZ in Gangnam. Look below for updates on our speakers. RSVP now by clicking here if you haven't already (https://www.meetup.com/Seoul-REI-Meetup/events/220546824/).
But first.. a short story to illustrate what I think is the MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT of being a member of our Meetup:
On Facebook, someone recently ask "Do we have Korean-focused investors as part of your group?"
I understand the question and I'm glad we have experienced Korea investors like Jacob Michaels and local bilingual real estate agent Jeff Yu to provide valuable insight about the Korean Real Estate Market.
And it's great that there are so many seasoned investors who are willing to share their personal experiences (including numbers and deal analysis) with the group.
But I gotta tell you something.. Knowledge is everywhere now. It's a commodity! ^^
You can google search anything about real estate and find the answer. Or if you look on Linked In, BiggerPockets, MeetUp.com (http://meetup.com/), etc, you'll find someone that can provide you with the 'knowledge' that you need.
So why come to the meetups if you can just google search
an answer from the comfort of your own home?
Because gaining knowledge is not the main reason to attend our meetups!
Every time I talk with an experienced Meetup investors like Sandy or Josh or Robert.. it's like a crash course in learning how to be successful in real estate. These people are making deals happen! And at the same time that I learn from them, I'm also realizing - I can do the same thing.
Just last month, I've heard about different members in our group:
-
Closing multiple deals in the US
-
Purchasing an investment home
-
Putting in an offer on a deal
-
Creating a savings plan to be ready to invest in July
-
Contemplating being a part of a nearly one million dollar real estate portfolio investment
-
Contacting an investor who did over $1.4 m in deals last year and spending 15 minutes learning from a pro (that one was me ^^)
-
And flying over 6,000 miles to get a deal done!
And.. this is just what I've heard about. I have a feeling there's been even more going on that I haven't heard about.
THIS IS THE REAL VALUE OF OUR MEETUP!
It gives you the opportunity to be surrounded by ACTION-TAKERS. To soak in that energy. To gain confidence from their confidence. To find strength in the collective support of the group.
How's that Dale Carnegie saying go again? You're the average of the five people you hang around with the most? If that's the case, surround me with five-actions taking Seoul Real Estate Investing Members.. and then move out of my way, please!
Anyways.. that intro was way too long. I guess I'm just so excited about what our members are doing and how this group is growing.
We should change our name to the Seoul Real Estate Investing Accelerator… because that's what we do.. we're accelerating everyone's growth and learning!
Okay.. onto this month's speaker:

Notice of Pricing Update:
We've had some awesome speakers at our events, but we realize that we've been making speakers pay their own entrance fee (even though we invite them to speak and they don't receive any payment.)
John, Ben and I have also paid for things like the Projector and gifts for the speakers.
So, in order to help offset those costs, we're going to ask that everyone pay 10,000 W for attending. We'll use 6,000 - 7,500 of each person's payment to pay TOZ (depending on if we end up staying extra) and we'll use the rest to pay the Speaker's attendance fee, pay for the projector, and pay for small gifts for each speaker.
Remember - YOUR coffee and drinks are FREE!
If there are leftover funds, we'll roll them over and keep them to help offset costs for things like: a field trip in May, taping our sessions, other goodies for the group.
We won't be taking any money for ourselves. (Even though it does take quite a bit of time to organize ^^)
In addition to the monthly meetup, we also help organize:
-
Cashflow Game Days
-
Field Trips
-
Google Q&As
And we provide resources like:
-
Facebook page
-
Post regular edited videos of our Meetup on Youtube
-
Post regularly on BiggerPockets about the group activities (for which we needed to upgrade our memberships to a paid membership)
The majority of the money will go to pay TOZ for the room. The rest will pay for the speaker's attendance and gifts. Leftover will be used for the group in the future.
Think you can't afford 10,000 W? Think about the cost of not taking action toward your dreams! ^^
Okay.. that's all for now. Please let us know how we're doing by emailing back or posting a comment.
Looking forward to seeing you all on March 21st!
RSVP now as we're close to our limit. You DON'T want to be left out:
