Seoul Scent & Poetry Salon

A small salon night in a traditional hanok — strangely, the kind of night that brings you closer to yourself.
Welcome to PROUST Salon, a quiet gathering in Jongno (near Hyehwa), where people share what they love — literature, poetry, scent, and atmosphere.
This salon is for those who:
value sensitivity and atmosphere more than loud talking
want to share their personal taste (books / poems / fragrance) in a calm way
desire deep and warm connection, but feel uncomfortable in noisy meetups
are looking for a special cultural experience in Seoul

Welcome & salon opening
Introduction of today’s scent & fragrance tasting
Sharing scenes/emotions that come to mind with the scent (optional)
Reading your chosen poem / book passage aloud
Closing: leaving your own “sentence of the day”
Mini fragrance-making (10–20 minutes) inspired by today’s sentence & taste
✅ It doesn’t have to be poetry.
A book passage, a short sentence, or even something you wrote yourself is warmly welcome.
📌 Most readings are in Korean (as most participants are Korean),
but you are also welcome to read in English or your own native language.
We guide the salon so that everyone can share the atmosphere and feelings, even across languages.

🎁 Gift for participants
All participants will receive an aroma roll-on perfume gift.
At the meetup, you can personally choose the scent that best matches your “sentence of the day” and taste.

When: Last Friday of every month, 7:30 PM
Duration: 1.5–2 hours
Where: PROUST (Jongno, hanok atelier / 5 min walk from Hyehwa Station)
