Monday Evening Mini-Hike: Daemosan and Decaf

Need something to look forward to on a Monday? Join us for a little after-work walk. Daemosan is a mini-mountain in South Gangnam, and we'll start at a trailhead near Irwon Station on line 3. We'll take the quickest trail; around 1.1 miles with only a 650ft elevation gain. It should take about an hour, out and back. I haven't hiked this mountain before but have heard there is a nice view, and we should hit the peak at just about sunset.
Please bring appropriate shoes, a bottle of water, some bug spray, and maybe some protein in case you're tuckered out from work. You might want to bring a headlamp / flashlight if you have one, but phone flashlights work too if you think you might want one.

Afterwards we can grab food/coffee depending on the group's wishes. (There's a kalguksu place near the station...just sayin...) You can do decaf coffee if you want...but remember you can sleep in tomorrow! (holiday!) Just don't forget to vote!

Meet outside exit 6 at 6pm at Irwon station (line 3). We'll leave promptly at 6:10pm. We cannot wait longer though because we don't want to get stuck on the mountain in the dark. So be on time, or early. Sunset should be around 7:37pm that day.
