Topic 1)
The topic of this meetup is “Why did you choose your current job?”
We spend a large part of our day working, yet we rarely take the time to reflect deeply on the reasons and processes behind that choice. In this session, we will share the background of how we came to choose our current jobs in English, in a relaxed and comfortable setting.
We often think of a “job” simply as a way to earn money, but in reality, it is one of the most important choices that shapes the direction of our lives. The workplace is where we spend the longest hours of our day, and the people we meet and the tasks we repeat can influence our personality, daily habits, and values. For this reason, the job we choose—and why we chose it—can reveal much more than just our career history; it can reflect our life as a whole.
In reality, however, career choices are not always as ideal or well-planned as we might imagine. Some people have had clear dreams from a young age and prepared carefully for the path they are on today.
Today’s topic is not simply about introducing our jobs. It is an opportunity to look more closely at the background behind our choices and to talk about life values, social change, and future directions. Some of us followed our dreams, some followed reality, and some arrived here by chance. Yet within every choice, there is a personal life story. By listening to each other, we may find empathy and reassurance—realizing that our own choices were not wrong, and that others have struggled with similar questions.

Topic 2)
This is an open topic. In the case of an open topic, one member of each group shares the topic they want to talk about, and the other members join the conversation by asking questions and discussing. Then another member shares their topic, followed by a Q&A session. If no one has a topic, the group leader will choose one to keep the conversation going. There are no restrictions on the topics that can be selected.
