What we’re about
Because we are 50+ years of age, it is not always easy to find others in the same age group away from home. Fab 50’s provides a place where we more mature expats can meet together and enjoy fun activities together.
We are a growing and active group of 50ish plus years, who find a variety of reasons to meet, especially on the weekends. Seoul, is a vibrant, fascinating and fun city to live in, especially when you have friends of like mind to share it with. Some of the activities we have taken part in are : cruising the Han at night, taking in a soccer game, thanksgiving dinner, Christmas dinner, concerts and musicals, and many, many others. Got something going on and not interested in going on your own? Post it with us! Tell others. Why? Well, we've found that, as Expats, meeting others around the same age is a bit of a challenge. At this age our interests have become so diverse that we could be buried inside the stacks of the National Library, working at our Kumdo or trekking across Gwankaksan. There are many other groups which offer a chance to meet others of all ages, but our group is unique. We offer the opportunity to meet with other older expats and share with people who may be described as like minds.
We're a friendly, easy going group from all over. Our anchor activities are our monthly game of Saturday Scrabble as well as our monthly Sunday lunch.
