Hi! All!
Let's hike up the highest peak in mainland South Korea, Jirisan's Cheonwangbong (1915 meters above sea level)! Jirisan National Park is music to my soul. I've done this hike over 100 times in the past decade even met my love here...:)
And my heart still leads me to hike this mountain again and to share this dazzling experience with other hikers.

Hiking starts 3 AM, finishes around 12~2PM (sunrise will be at shelter or near the summit depending on season). I will discuss the trail with everyone and choose the route together. Depending on weather, hikers' condition and experience we will show you one of 3 courses: 7 hour, 9 hour, or 12 hour course.
Anyone who joins will be informed of more details about the trip after you sign up.

After hiking you can head back to seoul or take advantage of the option to stay on a calm, pristine island, Geogeumdo where we live in Goheung (2 hours south of Jirisan).

OPTIONAL ISLAND GETAWAY:

• camp right at the 1km long beach (tent, mat, sleeping mat provided), bonfire possible. In case you prefer staying at lodging(hostel), we can help you to get one.
• Breakfast served.

POSSIBLE ACTIVITIES:
We can discuss them depending on group preferences and we arrange these activities.

• 2HOUR Short yet stunning view to island sunrise or sunset hike
• 4HOUR Highest peak to Geogeumdo island
• ALL DAY Kayak in remote island
• ANYTIME Calm seacoastal trail walk to pebble beach
• 3HOUR Visit eco forest trail and Songgwangam temple
• 2HOUR bicycling around island
• ALL DAY Rocket Lauch Site Space Science museum & Narodo Island Tour
• Yeosu, Suncheon Tour by request

FEE FOR GEOGEUMDO STAY:
*no additional fee for camping and oatmeal breakfast.
*Let's all chip in for lunch and dinner (we may cook or go to a restaurant depending on preferences).
*Return bus ticket approximately 40,000 ￦ to Seoul is on your own expense.
*There may be a small fee for some optional activities, like biking or kayaking
