Have you ever wished you could turn an idea into a working app without spending months learning to code? In this Tech Talk, we'll explore Vibe Coding—a new way of building software by collaborating with OpenCode AI coding agent.
This is a beginner-friendly session featuring a live demonstration where we'll build a simple application from scratch by writing an application specification and using it to instruct the coding agent powered by a free AI model. No prior programming experience is required, and you'll see the entire development process from idea to a working application.
We'll also discuss the different between prompting and instructing, how to write better instructions for AI coding agent, answering common questions such as why AI coding agents don't always produce the perfect application on the first attempt ("one-shot"), and why human judgment is still essential when developing software.
