See all- SeoulShare Walking Drawing Session 5Seonleung Station(Line 2) Exit 10, Seoul
We’re delighted to invite you to take part in an international walking event, organised by Thomas Heatherwick, the General Director of the 5th Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism (renowned architect behind Google’s Bay View Campus in the US). This year’s biennale explores the theme ‘Radically More Human’.
Under this theme, the director has selected eight projects, and we’re honoured that SeoulShare is part of the Walking Drawing project, led by Prof. Lee Moonju (Hongik University) & Sebastian Trujillo Torres (India).
"The Walking Drawing – a collaboration between SeoulShare, an international walking group, and Frame, a student collective from Hongik University, engaging diverse communities to create a reflective visual narrative that captures the emotional pulse of Seoul’s streets." — Thomas Heatherwick
This walking-drawing project is more than just a walk—it’s a collaborative creative journey, bringing together members of SeoulShare and Frame, a photography club from the Department of Architecture at Hongik University.
Throughout the project, participants will capture photographs that will be curated and transformed into a final collective piece, set to be exhibited at the 5th Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism.
The Fourth session is scheduled for Monday, 5th of May, from 14:00 to 20:00.
We’re looking for only 8 participants to join us in this unique walking-drawing experience at the 5th Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism alongside SeoulShare.
Would you like to be part of this creative journey? 🌿🎨📸

Seonjeongneung: Royal Tombs Amid Skyscrapers
Here at Seonjeongneung, we find a rare and striking contrast. Nestled in the heart of Gangnam’s skyscraper jungle lies a quiet triangular park, home to two royal tombs from the Joseon dynasty—Seolleung and Jeongneung. These 15th and 16th century burial sites are surrounded on all sides by modern high-rises, creating a powerful juxtaposition of Korea’s royal past and its high-tech present.
It’s a place where tradition and modernity meet—where stone guardians of the past look out onto glass towers of the future. A uniquely Korean blend of history and progress, right in the centre of Seoul.
